NOTIFICATION FROM RTH EXETER: Surface Synoptic Reports - Rothera Point (WMO Station No 89062)
The British Antarctic Survey wish to change how observational data from Rothera Point (89062) is transmitted.  This will affect Surface Synoptic Reports for Rothera Point (89062).  Currently Surface Synoptic Reports are transmitted via DCP to Washington for insertion on the GTS (SMAA01 KWBC, SIAA01 KWBC).  From Thursday 04 November 2004 at 1000 UTC reports will be transmitted to Exeter and then inserted onto the GTS using the following headings: SMAA01 EGRR / SIAA21 EGRR / SNAA41 EGRR.  At some point after this date Rothera Point (89062) will turn off their DCP and end transmissions to Washington.
