The observing facility; this could be a fixed station, moving equipment or a remote sensing platform.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>[NOTE - should review INSPIRE model for EMF - we may want to align with some attributes, but it is unlikely to be wholly appropriate]<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Additional definitions:<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>“a colocation of observing equipment managed by a single entity”<br /></p><p>“an administrative entity"<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Also note that the terms "station" and "platform" tend to be used interchangeably.<br /></p>
